
Celebrate Independence Day in true Cowboy Capital style by joining the
2nd Annual Bandera 4th of July Parade
hosted by the Bandera Business Association and 11th Street Cowboy Bar.
Businesses, nonprofits, civic groups, families, classic cars, floats, horse entries, decorated vehicles, youth organizations, and community members are invited to participate in this fun hometown tradition.
Parade Details
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Parade Start Time: 12:00 PM
Lineup Begins: 9:30 AM
Lineup Location: Bandera City Park on Maple Street
The lineup will depart City Park at approximately 11:30 AM and proceed to Cypress Street, then onto Main Street. The route will continue through downtown Bandera before returning to the park.
Entry Fee
$5 per parade entry
Military-related organizations may enter at no charge.
(Examples may include active military units, veterans groups, ROTC, honor guards, and similar organizations.)
Your registration is not complete until payment is received, unless you qualify for the military exemption.

- Performance Group (band, drill team, dance, cheer, etc.)
- Specialty Entry (large equipment, emergency vehicle, unique display)
Important Participant Rules
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable event:
- Licensed drivers required for vehicles
- No alcohol consumption during parade participation
- No loud sirens or horns
- Adult supervision required for youth groups
- Horse entries must provide a current negative Coggins test at lineup
- Music must be lowered near announcer stand
- Keep safe spacing between entries during parade

Please include a short description of your group or business during registration. The announcer has limited time per entry, so brief and clear descriptions are best.
